The other day I presented my plastic yellow box re-do into a lovely black and white version. Today I’d like to show you the rest of the bookcase.

Starting from the top, we have some boxes on the left … along with binders, one of which has been covered in fabric.
Ξεκινώντας από την κορυφή, έχουμε μερικά κουτιά στα αριστερά … μαζί με συνδετικά βιβλία, ένα από τα οποία έχει καλυφθεί σε ύφασμα.

And on the right hand side, I have Ikea magazine holders. I painted them with stripes and polka dots to give the bookcase unity.

The second shelf has more magazine files with the black and white theme.

The next two shelves hold books and an assortment of make up, hair brushes and headphones.

And here on the bottom shelf we have the original box. In fact this was my inspiration for redoing the whole bookcase.

And here we have the whole bookcase, with the black and white theme, and a touch of blue!

The cohesiveness of your shelves looks so nice Mary. It makes a big difference to place a pop of matching colour on pattern on each shelf. The best part is how you do it on a budget. Great job as always.

I can see why your daughter was thrilled! I love the hand drawn simpleness of the stripes and dots which instantly adds interest and totally makes me smile because if I were doing this for myself, I would do it exactly the same way! Can't go wrong with Black and White!
