Do you ever mean to do a project but for some reason or other it just seems to end up in the back of the drawer? Well I had that problem with a small wood box. I think it is called a treasure box. That poor box got worked on in stages over a period of over three years. Now that I wrote that, it just sounds pathetic. But I finally finished it and am ready to share.
But not here. I am going for a visit to my good friend Deborah of Salvage Sister and Mister. Her blog is also all about ... you guessed it, repurposing and upcycling. She is part of a team and works with her husband Tom to come up with some incredible DIY projects. So join me over on her blog as we examine the little red box that finally got done.
It is 2018 and that means new things. I am so excited to share with you that I have joined a wonderful group of ladies who host a monthly blog hop with the theme "Ten on Ten". I can see you scratching your heads and wondering what that must be. Well, on the tenth of every month, ten of us will be teaming up to share different projects. So for the price of one... meaning me, you will also get another nine bloggers who share their projects and ideas on the same theme.
This month we decided to start the year running and dive right into Valentine's day. And so I present ten projects for a special Valentine's Day. Be sure to scroll all the way down to see the rest of the ladies' posts.
It's my favorite time of the month, time for another edition of International Bloggers Club. We are a group of friends from all over the world who get together every month to share our projects, compare notes and see how we do things in our corner of the world. Last month we shared wood projects, and the month before flatlay photos of our favorite things.
This month, with the holidays right at our doorsteps I am going to share 3 simple gift wrapping ideas of the holidays.
With the holidays right around the corner I thought it would be a good time for me to share my wish list of gift ideas. Now I have never done this before, but I had lots of fun coming up with what I would like in the course of my day. And I think if you are like me then you will find something here too.
That's why this is a Practical, as opposed to extravagant, Holiday Gift guide for the DIYer!
Disclosure: I was compensated for doing this post with product. However, all the opinions stated here are my own. I only use products I love and would recommend to my viewers.
Today I am sharing with you another repurpose of a picture frame that I made into easy wall decor for the holidays.
I started out with this simple plastic frame. It was cheap plastic but I was determined to make it something special - something gift worthy.
I would also like to invite you to visit my friends at the Creative Christmas Link Party below.
I'm Mary and I recently moved to New York from beautiful Greece. I like to re-purpose and up-cycle anything that is old or looks like junk. Join me as we use our creativity to spark some life into old things. And do it frugally! You will also see lots of photography of my Greece and New York.
