It is that time of the month again when I join my friends and we bring to you our projects from all over the world. I am talking about the International Bloggers Club.
Two months ago we started a new theme that involves using the Anniversary years as our guideline. We featured projects with paper and projects with cotton. However this month we are going to sidestep and get in the spirit of the season. Yes, we are talking about Christmas! I thought I would go all out and share my Christmas tree for this year. Because for me, it's all about the sparkle!
Make sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post to see what my friends have made this month.
Last year I decorated the tree from odds and ends that I found in a box here in New York, our first year back. It was a mostly blue tree. But I didn't want to repeat it this year because I now have a blue wall and I felt too much blue is, well, too much blue.
This year I wanted to decorate a tree that was all my own. I chose to go with glitter and shine to give the tree that something special - a sparkle! Also the white and bright would really stand out against the blue cloudy wall.
I'm Mary and I recently moved to New York from beautiful Greece. I like to re-purpose and up-cycle anything that is old or looks like junk. Join me as we use our creativity to spark some life into old things. And do it frugally! You will also see lots of photography of my Greece and New York.
