Sharing is caring!

Today I thought I would share a re-purpose with  you. For the Christmas holidays I had taken some wood slices and drawn holiday decorations on them.  They came out really well, as you can see:

.I liked them so much that I was hesitant to part with them after the holidays.  What to do with them?  I figured if I flip them on the other side I can paint them and use them all year long. And so that is just what I did.  Using simple stencils I painted  the initials of the family on the wood slices.

I added an olive wreath  and my lobby decor was complete!!

Here we have Christmas decorations:

We flip it over and  we have initials for  year round  use.

So now I am using my wood slices all year long.  They are in my lobby and they cheer me up!

Keri, I realy enjoy bringing nature into the house. This is such a great trend, something that we didn't use to do years ago. But now I find myself picking up leaves off the ground simply because I like their color. I'm sure they were always there, it must be me that has changed.
