A Lazy Walk in the Park with the Dog

Sharing is caring!

It’s been a while since I shared a photography post with you.  I’ve been so busy doing other things that I haven’t really had time for lazy walks in the park.

But one day I got together with my girls and we took our dog, Tatou for a walk in the park.

It was a chilly, cloudy day.

But that never stopped the fall colors from shining through!

I was so happy to be out and about, I even snapped this electrical pole.  It does look a bit like patina on there doesn’t it?

We walked along the road and found discreet bursts of color everywhere.

And a scene that looked like it came out of the Shire!

And as we walked down that road…

And then before you know it, it was time to take the road back.

Past Fall’s bounty!

All in all it was a lovely walk despite the bad weather.  And it just goes to show, you never know what you’ll discover when you take a walk in the park on a fall day with the dog.

Sounds like a lovely walk. (I came over from Esme's linkup party thingy).

Cloudy days are the best for photos I think. No pesky shadows or glare to consider. I know you’ve had some chilly weather in NY. It’s chilly here too! I’m watching the neighbors dog while they’re away and just got back from walking him while wearing a down coat! Who knew??

Doreen I like cloudy too but sometimes that cloudy sky can be blinding. This week the weather has been feeling twentyish because of all the wind so we are really into winter territory here. It is no fun walking the dog in this weather, he runs right back in the house, our pampered pooch!

When it's all white out there, I'm loving looking back at fallen leaves and orange and gold!

Lovely pictures and beautiful snatches of color. What park is this? Love to know. Pinned this to my nature board as walking outdoors is good for the mind, body, and soul.

Love dog walks in Autumn - the dogs really love all the leaves and puddles! xx
