Sharing is caring!
You know how sometimes you are working on a project, and you rush to take pictures of it, and then you put your memory card into the computer … and instead of your pictures you see … this: I call it Blissful Decay.
This happened to me a few days ago. I was working on a project and instead of finding 5 measly pictures of my box makeover I found 128 pictures of total bliss on the memory card. What happened you say? Well, my daughter went out for a walk with her friend and they got carried away with the decay of the town!
So here is to blissful decay!
My thanks to Peter and Ina for taking these amazing pictures of Blissful Decay. They have such a fresh eye for the details of our town! You can visit my photo gallery here for more photography.

This one was photographed by the kids. They really surprised me when they came back from their walk and I saw such exquisite point of views.

I'm speachless, such amazing wonderful shots. I love the old door and the balconies too. Everything looks like it would have been truly stunning in it's hay day.

Stella it was such a beautiful town but we had a huge earthquake here in '96 and so now we have a lot of ruins. Some of these old houses have been restored to their former grandeur but a lot of them have been abandoned.
