In case you are new to my blog, I post daily “Photos of the Day” on my Facebook page which is here, as a token of my appreciation for your visits. But there are some of you who do not go to Facebook, unlike me who should be paying rent by now, and so I have this series where I post all of your favorites for the month.

Mary, you are living in a little slice of heaven there! Those mountains and that ocean would steal my attention at every turn.
Stacey, I have a big window in front of my kitchen sink. It sure does make washing the dishes a whole lot easier!
Dear Mary,
I do love that last picture. It’s got an aura of peace and warmth.
Thank you for sharing these moments with us,
Marjan
I agree with you Marjan. The last one is so warm. I’m still trying to hold onto the ambiance we had from the holidays.
Mary, all of your pictures are always so beautiful!!! I really enjoy how you capture the sky’s magnificence. Such a wonderful December. Thanks for sharing your talent!!
Thank you Keri. That sky never gets boring.
What’s the name of that plant in photo 2 Mary? My fave is the seaside scene I think. All are beautiful.
Florence that is a Chinese Plum. It is very common here in Greece. In fact you might even have it, it grows in the warmer regions.
Mary, your pictures are stunning! I just enjoy them so much. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Thank you Cindy. I have to admit I am always surprised when I tally up the results of the most popular.
They are all gorgeous photos! But I think my favorite is between the close up of the dandelion flower, and the pine cone.
Linda I had to take at least five to get that dandelion. It was always out of focus. But I’m really proud of it. Thank you.
Loved them all Mary my favourite is the pine cones and tea light.Thank you so much ,you live in a beautiful place.
Thank you so much Mary! The pine cones and tea light was a last minute inspiration in my attempt to hold onto the Holiday spirit, without being too Christmasy. I hope I achieved it.
Beautiful, as always!
Thank you dear Marie!
Happy New Year Mary! Are you back home? Looks like you enjoyed your time in the states. Did our crazy politics make you feel right at home?
So…your pics are gorgeous. My favorite is the 5th one down, the mountains with the clouds. I’m curious, is that the same mountain range in all your photos?
Hugs and Kisses…Lynn
Lynn I’ll be in NY for the whole month. I am having a great time with my boys. And yes the politics is perfectly on par with our wacky Greek politics.
Lynn the town is located by the bay. What you are seeing in that photo is the land that is across the bay. You have to take a boat to get there. We also have mountains surrounding our town which is on a plain in front of the bay. So I guess I’ve got the best of both worlds.
I love all the photos but my favorite is the next to last with the sun setting behind the mountains with a view of the sea
Carol that one is of the port which is rarely used. Many years ago we were a thriving port town, but now things have slowed down considerably. We had another port which was wrecked after the ’95 earthquake. And that’s when this one was built.
But as hard as things get the beauty of the area is still there.
Aw, I missed quite a few this time, so I’m happy I get to enjoy them here now Mary! Thank you! I love the snow white mountain tops and the views! It really looks like a sleeping lady, I remember you mentioned once!
And it’s a good thing you did too. We all went on a break which was much needed.
A really lovely look at your December. I especially like the photos of the mountains!
Thank you Kat. Greece is not just beaches it also has some pretty spectacular mountains.
Mary as ever your December photos are beautiful,I love the sunset, the mountains you live in a beautiful place.
Thank you so much Mary. I am always happy when I see your comments.
What stunning photos and such an amazing view. I’m very jealous.
Don’t be Anne. As beautiful as it is, it has nothing to offer for it’s people. But it is a great place for a vacation.
I love the snow topped mountains and festive photos
Thank you. It is gorgeous around here.
Hi Mary, you do take some nice photos and I do enjoy seeing them on FB. I do love the snow capped mountains and the gold balls in a jar.
xx
Debbie the snow is unbelievable this year. We had some in the town which we almost never get. Schools were closed for three days.
The photo of the bells in the glass bowl really appeal to me Mary. It just draws your eye in forever. It would look stunning blown up.
Michelle I am always misplacing things on purpose! 😉
Mary, these are so gorgeous! I envy your photography skills! It’s all I can do to take a good picture of food. Haha! I love the mountain shots the best. 🙂 I would love to visit Greece someday. It looks so beautiful!
Thank you so much Gina. Taking a good picture of food is a lot harder than you think. Don’t sell yourself short.
Thanks for sharing these. Gorgeous photos.
Thank you Katie for your sweet comment.
I love this monthly series. You have become such a wonderful photographer. You take gorgeous shots and you frame them so well!
Although I am bonkers for flowers and lemons, as you know, I would have to say that the first 3 images are my favorite. The mountains and the sea with a stunning town beneath the hills of snow and the beautiful clouds. What a perfect place.
It really is a perfect place. Since I started photographing my surroundings I have become so much more aware and love the landscape so much more.
You are a very talented photographer Mary
Thank you so much Amber for your kind words.
Wow. You are a great photography. Clear crisp pictures and great composition. Just like your projects! 😉 Enjoyed them.
#3 is my favorite…the one with the range of snowy mountains in the background. Beautiful photos all!
Mary, I so enjoyed looking at your March photos. You have a wonderful eye. I truly love looking at your lovely pictures. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
My fave is #3 followed by the nuts. Great photos as usual! Didn’t know you had a round-up of the favorite ones. Where do you post that?
This is a good idea for a post. Lots of my FB pics end up on the blog but it’s a fun way to connect with non-FB pals.
A quick thank you for your visit to Marmelade Gypsy and very nice comment on our pasta evening! I hoe the rest of your weekend is nice!
I always love the pictures you post. Thank you for sharing them with us. They are lovely, viewing them gives me many wonderful relaxing feelings and smiles.
What a sweet thing to say Ivory. I thank you so much for taking the time to comment and let me know that my photos touch you.
Your photos are fabulous. I’m in snow country in the winter and believe me, I’d like my December to look a bit more like yours! The flowers, the scenery — it’s all beautiful. December seems like a million miles away and yet the first part of this year has gone so very quickly, I have a feeling I’ll be decorating for the holidays before I know it!
Jeanie time is flying by so quickly and I personally have so much to do! The only thing slowing me down is the heat. Enjoy your summer while it lasts.
Your vistas are beautiful — but what i love most are those tight shots of the beads and the nuts. They tell such a story.
Christmas time is always great for photos. There is so much around us to inspire.
