Happy almost Spring!! It is about time that things have warmed up a bit. It's my favorite time of the month again, the Int'l Bloggers Club Challenge. Each month five friends get together and share different topics from their corner of the world. In the past we have talked about Valentine's Day, and of course our special Gift Swap.
This month we're all about Spring. Or in Michelle's case since she's in the southern hemisphere, fall. It may still be raining but the flowers are blooming and that was my inspiration for this month's spring craft of repurposed cordial glasses and saucers into a pedestal.

Today I have a super quick project. Now I know that normally I don't do these but in this case it was necessary.
My sweet daughter, the one of You Tube fame (although in my opinion she is doing everything to stay obscure, like those poor starving artists that will only get recognized later in life). Well she had made this t-shirt years ago. Oh did I ever tell you the girls had a t-shirt business. The older one was in charge of the finances and the younger Miss You Tube, was the creative genius. She would sit there and painsakingly copy images onto t-shirts. It was a lot, lot of work, and she burned out after a few months of doing it. But it was her first taste of running a business. Back to the t-shirt. Of course she's all grown up now and she doesn't wear it any more. She wanted to get rid of it. But I, being the proud mama, was not about to let her throw it out! Instead I easily repurposed it into wall art. Last month before I went to New York I had the pleasure of taking a trip with the family, to the mountains. The difference with this trip and another trip I shared with you last year, was that this time the mountains were covered in snow. Join my today as we take a look at the snowy mountains of Greece. These are actually a fifteen minute drive from my town.

It's been a very busy week for me. I celebrated my two years as a blogger and couldn't be happier. This week we also celebrated sizzling Thursday which is basically an excuse to barbecue. The whole town smells yummy these days in preparation for the end of the Carnival and the start of Lent.
