It's September and that means it's my turn to contribute a gift to the Handmade Christmas Gift blog hop. For those of you who are new here, I have gotten together with some blogger friends and we are making one gift per month (or at least we are trying). In this way, we will have 12 handmade gifts by the time December rolls around. In previous months I have made a pillow and a wooden heart.
As I mentioned, this month I get to make a gift and my blogger friends, and of course you all, are invited to copy it or make a variation.
What am I making? Well, because I've been working so hard all year I am going to make a gift for myself. After all a happy blogger is a productive blogger! I'm making a jewelry organizer for earrings.
Disclosure: I was compensated for doing this post with product. However, all the opinions stated here are my own. I only use products I love and would recommend to my viewers.
A few weeks ago I showed you my vintage suitcase makeover, you know the one I found in the basement. The one that was a hot mess. The one that nearly broke my back.
I think that I've kept you in suspense long enough. We are here to answer the question that you have all been wanting an answer to: What's inside the vintage suitcase?
Welcome to our Twenty-Second Sweet Inspiration Link Party.
As I sit here typing it is cloudy and looks like rain... my kind of weather. As my kids say, "moma blogger is happy". Yes that is what they call me in their sarcastic way.
It has been a busy week, I've made a few changes on the blog, to make things easier for me to function. And I've added that big green thing on top. Do you like it or is it too much and maybe I ought to remove it. Let me know below in the comments.
We no longer require that you link back to our party. However, if you wish, you can add a button with a no follow link. And, please no repeat link ups. We will be visiting all of you who link up with us and sharing, pinning all that good stuff. We always appreciate your visits.
Happy September to everyone. I love it when we get to the end of the month and I review my Facebook "photos of the day". I have to admit there were some surprises in the bunch this month. Who would have expected one of my most popular photos to be of an old rusty grate? Rust is truly a trend now!
If you are new here, I have been posting "photos of the day" on my Facebook page for a while, but just recently started to share them on the blog as well, since there are readers who don't have a chance to see them on Feacebook.
Oh well, I'll just shut up now and let the images do the talking. My Facebook photos for August.
I'm Mary and I recently moved to New York from beautiful Greece. I like to re-purpose and up-cycle anything that is old or looks like junk. Join me as we use our creativity to spark some life into old things. And do it frugally! You will also see lots of photography of my Greece and New York.
