By now you must all know that fall is my favorite time of the year. And during fall we have Halloween which is always so much fun to decorate for. Last year, while still in Greece we had a blast for Halloween with Mr. Pumpkin Man and we even had a Halloween party.
So it is only fitting that now that we are in the States we will be going all out and celebrating. And what easier way to celebrate then by putting together an easy and thrifty Halloween vignette that is created with re-purposed items.
Today I am also joining some very special friends for a Fall/Halloween blog hop, so be sure to check them out at the end of this post.
Well I finally finished that small space that I have been driving all of you crazy about. Today I'd like to share the living/kitchen area with you. And at a later date I'll be able to share the bedroom of which I've still got a few projects to show you.
But before all of that business I have to show you a bit of the kitchen and how we installed it. Because Murphy's Law will always prevail!
Welcome to our Seventy-Eighth Sweet Inspiration Link Party.
I hope you have all had a good week. We are starting to see signs of Fall around here. I am really enjoying my daily walks around the neighborhood. I even managed to organize most of the house but as you can imagine there will be a lot more of that and decorating in the coming months.
We kindly ask that you do not add your link parties to the linkup, otherwise we will have to remove them.
The party starts on Fridays 11am EST or 4 pm GMT and runs until Tuesday. By joining us every week you will be able to grow your blog and gather inspiration from so many others who link up to our party. We hope you will join us every week to share and inspire with your projects and creations.
We will be visiting all of you who link up with us and sharing, pinning all that good stuff. We really do appreciate your visits.
Here we are again at the beginning of October and I am all set to share with you all my "photos of the day" that I upload on Facebook every month. These of course are from the month of September. And they were all picked by you!
This is my way of saying "thank you" to all of my followers. I have added the whole series on the bottom of this post.
Disclosure: I was compensated for doing this post with product. However, all the opinions stated here are my own. I only use products I love and would recommend to my viewers.
I had an old chair -actually there were two of them - and a few years ago I took them and shortened the legs so I could place them in front of the fireplace. They were great there, all nestled up next to the fireplace, but as with any good thing they started to fall apart after so many years.
Now being the good up-cycler that I am, I put the chairs in a corner and pondered what to do with them. At first I had a vague idea of making a sign and hanging it on the back of the chair. Because that was the part I was going to re-use. It would be all fall-like and pretty.
But as things have a way of going by the wayside and doing what they want on this blog, I ended up with something totally different. And so I am going to show you how to make a cool kitchen organizer from a chair.
I'm Mary and I recently moved to New York from beautiful Greece. I like to re-purpose and up-cycle anything that is old or looks like junk. Join me as we use our creativity to spark some life into old things. And do it frugally! You will also see lots of photography of my Greece and New York.
