Facebook Photos for February

As we say goodbye to February, let's stop a moment and look back at what I shared with you on my favorite social media. Here are your favorite Facebook Photos for February.

And just in case you have no idea what this is, I upload "a photo of the day" on
my Facebook page here,
every day and at the end of the month I present the best picked by you. My way of saying "thank you" to all of my followers. I have added the whole series on the bottom of this post.

Facebook photos logs the boondocksblog.com
This turned out to be quite an exciting month. I started out in New York but quickly made my way to Greece in time for what turned out to be the tail end of a very harsh winter.

My beloved Pumpkin Man is still alive and well and ready for the Carnival!

And the month would not have been complete without a shot of John, my new best friend whom I left behind in New York but he's still in my heart!

The next three are my bonus photos to you. I just couldn't choose.  Snow is such a rarity in my town.  We get a sprinkling once every ten years. It's not normal for the lemons and oranges to be covered in snow.

Such lovely photos and I'm so jealous of your snow, we haven't had any this winter. I love your little cat, what a cutie.

We have had way too much for our area. In fact the whole town came to a stop!

My favourite one is the very last one, you're right, it's strange to see oranges and lemons covered in snow, but so beautiful at the same time! I also really enjoyed your black and white ones this month Mary! Always fun to peek into your world!

Thanks Katrin. I wish I could have been here when all this madness was going on but then again it was really nice in New York too.

You HAVE had a busy month! Traveling is always fun but tiring, especially flying, but you managed to keep up with everything. I'm impressed!

Beautiful pics of your February, Mary. Love the one with the swan in the pond and the vineyard covered in snow.

Happy March!

Poppy I hope you didn't get as much snow as that. It was very unusual for us because we are at sea level.

Beautiful photos, as always. My favorite is the ones with snow covered lemons and oranges but John the feline cutie definitely came in close. Looking forward to March photo series, Mary!

Marie I was so surprised to see all the snow. That last one was taken by one of my girls because I hadn't returned yet. But it was incredible to see that. Even in a photo.

February's photos are all lovely! Love the pretty yellow flowers, and the swan in the pond. But my favorite is Mr. Pumpkin man, I have grown fond of him, and love seeing what hat he is going to wear next. Lol

So many contrasts in the photos and what a difference between those you took in NY and in Greece. Worlds apart. I'm sooooo glad to see Mr Pumpkin again. He'll always hold a special place in my heart Mary.

Indeed worlds apart. To be honest, I didn't really go looking for great shots in New York. I was happy to just stay home. As for Mr. Pumpkin, I do believe we will be celebrating Easter with him the way he is holding up.

Lovely photos as usual Mary! Like the rooster the best...looks like he is sitting in an art gallery until you notice he is sitting on a table. Also love the snow pictures. Since snow is so rare in Greece, do people get excited about it like they do here in Alabama? Just wondering. Happy Weekend my friend.

Florence I went to my relative's house and started snapping all her cool stuff including that rooster. Snow is not rare in the mountains but we live in a town at sea level and it is so exciting but we are also not prepared for it at all. Probably like Alabama.

Oh wow, you got lots of snow! I love the photo with contrasting colors of the fruit and snow!
I can see why John has a special place in your heart. Such a cute cat!
And lastly, I can't believe Pumpkin man is still alive! How did you preserve him? Keep him frozen in all that snow? Lol.

Lots of snow and not even in the mountains but at sea level which is super rare! John is such a cutie, I miss him already!

As for Pumpkin man, I don't know what to say. He has been around since October and still going strong. I haven't done anything. Literally, no cutting or anything. He must be very hardy, would have made a great pie, but now it's too late to think of that and I'm too emotionally invested in him Haha!

Hi Mary, I do like your photos, but miss many as I don't really 'do' FB. I like your first photo of the high rise building. Probably because we don't have them here. And what a novel photo the snow covered citrus trees is? That's not going to happen too often. I do love the trees with the yellow pompom flowers, is it a mimosa tree?

Debbie the popcorn flower tree is a chinese plum or loquat. In Greek it's called Mousmoula. It has a fruit which looks like a peach but smaller.
