It has been a very good week. Temperatures dropped about 20 degrees so that was nice, unfortunately I didn’t get much work done in the painting department since I was staring at my screen all week. The girls have got me watching “How I Met Your Mother”. I guess summer is a good a time as any to binge watch! What are you watching these days?

I don’t know what I love more about this guest room; the gorgeous re-purposed door headboard or the way that Marie from Interior Frugalista stenciled the walls. If I ever stayed there, I’m not sure I’d leave 😉
Did you know you can make blush using rose petals? Lina over at Sew Historically doesn’t just make her own blush, but also base, mascara and a whole bunch of other interesting things using recipes from days gone by.
Pamela of Brooklyn Farm Girl knows what she is doing. It is tomato season and we need to stock up on sauce so we can have this yumminess all year long.
If I can’t grow em I might as well make a cake with them! Larr of Feathering My Empty Nest has done just that and it looks spectacular!
