Welcome to our Eighty-Ninth Sweet Inspiration Link Party.
We have been quite busy since last week with mountains of snow and sludge all around us, and our attempts to maneuver around them. But that is the beauty of winter. (Can you tell I'm still in the honeymoon phase of my move to New York?) It seems to be taking forever to melt!
The party starts on Fridays 11am EST or 4 pm GMT and runs until Tuesday. By joining us every week you will be able to grow your blog and gather inspiration from so many others who link up to our party. We hope you will join us every week to share and inspire with your projects and creations.
We will be visiting all of you who link up with us and sharing, pinning all that good stuff. We really do appreciate your visits.
Lisa from Feathering My Empty Nest suggests white bean soup and bruschetta! Can you think something better for the cold winter days?
Maisy from Becoming Alice shows in tantalizing photos How to Improve Your Food Photography Game with tips we can all learn and apply to our particular genre.
There are very few soups that would make my mouth water, but this hearty, soul-satisfying sausage & cabbage soup recipe by Stacie from Simply Stacie has just gone ahead and done it! I think it's the perfect comfort food this season.
I'm a huge fan of plants. Outside, inside, anywhere so I really enjoyed this post from Comfort Spring Station. She shared a whole bunch of indoor plants that clean the air and help us heal in a natural way. So if those aircons are making you feel a little down, you need to go check this one out .
I am a fool for a good furniture makeover with chalk paint, like this large desk from Beverly of Across the Boulevard. She was not afraid to transform the desk and make it fit in with the rest of the room. And what a desk it is!
And the most popular for this week was by Gabi of Obraznicaturi for her wood scraps turned into colorful block houses.

I'm Mary and I recently moved to New York from beautiful Greece. I like to re-purpose and up-cycle anything that is old or looks like junk. Join me as we use our creativity to spark some life into old things. And do it frugally! You will also see lots of photography of my Greece and New York.
