I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing holiday break! I did lots of relaxing over the holidays and I spend time with the family. Because that’s what it’s all about. But I have a surprise! I am writing to you from New York where I’m visiting my sons. Because family is what it’s all about. So once I recover from jet lag I’ll pull myself together and start posting like a good blogger should!

This is such a creative way to make a Christmas cheese platter by Jennifer Priest.
I love the way Debra at Shoppe No 5 changed a candlestick to blend in with her Balsam Hill candlesticks. It looks gorgeous and it matches perfectly.
This gorgeous Armoire made by the super talented Pat from the Wood Spa is perfect for a little girls room. Can I please be little again so I qualify 😉

Uwe of My DIY OL shows us how he decorated his beautiful curved fireplace. I personally think they are very hard to decorate but this one looks fantastic all decked out in its Christmas finery.
