Και έτσι δημιούργησα έναν κρεμαστό δίσκο για το ρεσό μου. Επίσης, κατάφερα να επαναπροσδιορίσω τρία διαφορετικά αντικείμενα για αυτό το μικρό έργο. Και περιμένετε … εχω ακόμα περισσότερα κομμάτια από την ψησταριά. Τι τύχη ειναι αυτή! Εσείς τι θα κάνατε με ένα μικρό δίσκο όπως αυτόν;

You are a genius.
Aww Baba, that is so sweet of you to say, I wish I was.
Mary that BBQ is up for surprises, what a great repurpose!!! It`s perfect to be used as a hanging decor and with the little bracelets and candles inside it looks too cute! Great Outdoor decor but in the winter it`ll look as lovely inside I`m sure!
It’s the grill that keeps on giving Katrin. And you are right, I can probably find a place for it indoors in the winter time.
Mary, you’re so clever!!! I love how versatile it is and so pretty too!! It’s amazing how you thought of this!! I really like all the different things you put in there and the bracelets can give it a new look in just seconds. I can’t wait to see what else you got up your sleeve for the grill!
I try Keri. I think it has to do with the fact that we are exposed to so much creativity all day through the blogs that our minds start to expand, in a good way.
You are so creative. I keep reading trying to figure out what you were going to make. This is so cool.
Debra I like to keep you in suspense. I actually had to think twice as to how I would present this.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. How on earth do you come up with your ideas, awesome re-purpose and it looks so beautiful too.
Thank you Michelle, I try to keep an open mind and sometimes its a matter of having seeing something in front of you and then it clicks. I’m sure you know what I’m talking about, you have so many beautiful creations.
Wow 3 different items in a so beautiful decorative piece! Well done Mary! I ‘m curious about the rest of the pieces!
Thanks Katerina, I was lucky that they were all in front of me at the same time.
This is so cool. Very creative.
Thank you Krista, gotta keep the creative juices flowing.
Pinned!
Many brilliant ideas (and I am totally stealing the bracelets one!).
Love <3
Thank you! I had them sitting in a drawer for years and years. I had emptied the dresser the other day because I’m going to piant it and I saw them and thought…hummm
You are the BBQ Upcycling Queen!!! How clever is this idea, Mary. I like the way your mind works, girl😍
In order for me to retain that title I’ll have to find another unwanted barbecue grill. The mind of a diyer is a mystery Marie, but you already knew that! π
Love what you did with the grill part…such a great idea!!! Love how you toned down the shiny saucer and added the burlap…and can use it for different items!
That shine had to go Michelle I wanted something a bit more aged. I think it looks more like tin now.
I have no idea what I would have done with that, but you have a good idea. I’m like you..have a bunch of bracelets, but never wear them! What amazes me is how you got all those knots in the burlap to line up with each other so they look even! Ha! That never works for me!
Florence
Florence, it’s not rocket science. I just knotted them loosely and then after adj sting it to the other one pulled hard. I got my exercise for the day…lol Thanks for the sweet comment. And the chuckle.
Wow! I did not see that coming!
Zografia, neither did I. I start out and sometimes the pieces takes me where they want to go. The have a life of their own…lol
You never cease to amaze me with your creative ideas, Mary! This turned out so beautifully, and you have so many neat ways to use it! My favorite is the vase with flowers. I can’t wait to see what you do with the rest of the grill pieces!
Thanks Celeste. It was actually a very easy project to do . I just needed to get the old brain working a bit.
wow awesome! love it and so easy to change it up! So many great ideas from one grill! You are amazing!
Exactly Millie. If I had glued the bracelet down I wouldn’t have been able to change it.
So creative! I love the idea of the knotted burlap! I’m sure you’ve inspired others to dig through their own boxes of goodies and create something awesome too:) You’ve definitely got me thinking about what I have in my stash!
It’s amazing what you can come up with when you look at ordinary things with a different eye Wendi.
Very versatile! I could use it today for a bird feeder!!
Absolutely Betty. That’s why I didn’t glue the wood piece to the saucer so that it can be used any way you want it.
What a creative use of old things! It turned out really beautiful, well done Mary, once again you managed to amaze me!
There is so much that can be repurposed it’s a shame to throw it out. Thanks Ntina for your sweet comment.
I have no idea what I would have done. Probably thrown it to the curb with the trash. That’s why you are the repurposing queen! I love the way the black/white paint made this look like a perfectly aged piece, it looks great with the burlap, I am a huge fan of burlap! The bracelet is a huge find, you can change out the color and it does a great job of keeping the candle or vase in it’s place! I love it!
Nikki I go to bed and dream about this stuff. Or I’ll be sitting somewhere having a conversation and all of a sudden something will pop into my head. Its a full time job! I love lighting this at night.
Creative stuff, Mary! Love it.
Thanks Marissa. I try to repurpose almost anything.
Very cool, you could also use this bird feeder. I like it as a candle holder too.
Maria
Yes Maria it could easily work as a bird feeder. Very versatile.
I adore your ingenuity! I found you at the Thoughts of Home on Thursday party and had to pop over and check this out.
And to live in Greece…My younger kids and I are studying Ancient Greece so I’m all about Greece right now. What a beautiful place!
Thanks for sharing your inspiration. I’ve got a lot of junk I need to rummage through. π
Karen I am so happy you were able to stop by. If you are interested I have lots of photos of Greece in my photo gallery. As for junk the blog is all about repuposing junk so if you ever need ideas this is the place.
Mary, you are so smart and resourceful! I really like this.
Happy Thoughts of Home and be sure to join us Monday for the garden party. π
I love this idea I have of you Mary, with your boxes full of stuff you just can’t throw away! You are so creative with how you find new uses for old things. This is just brilliant.
Thank you Julie, I love looking through my stashes, there is always a surprise in there.
Very clever repurpose, Mary!!!! You used so many old things, like the bracelets ( I also have many which I don’t wear)! I may try to make one myself! Can I ask you where you buy the burlap ribbon?
I bought the burlap ribbon at a local LIDL. They were featuring them for outdoor garden use. You need to keep your eyes opened they usually bring them back every few months.
So very creative and has a little bohemian flair too!
Thank you for sharing your creativity with us at TOHOT!
Jemma
Jemma you are absolutely right. I hadn’t even thought of that. Thanks for the idea.
Mary – I love all your different uses for burlap. Love the raw and natural look of these DIY Ideas!
I am really starting to appreciate simple and natural, less decoration and embellishment is better sometimes.
WOW Mary you never cease to amaze me with your creative cleverness! I love how you have repurposed so many goodies in this project! Must look so pretty with your tea lights lit!
Sam this was a real easy project. I was lucky to have all these things in front of me and then imagination just took over.
You are so clever, Mary π Love the retro, macrame-ish look to your hanger. Thanks for linking up your posts with us at Vintage Charm!
Thank you Diana. I am always trying to do things I’ve never done before.
That took a lot of imagination and creativity to create that!! I don’t think I would have see a purpose in the grill part so easily. Great job, and I love how you show that you can easily change up the holder.
Oh Melony, I have taken that grill apart and used almost every single piece. lol. If only I could find another one. Thanks for stopping by.
How creative!!! It looks wonderful on your beautiful balcony!!
Susanne I love easy repurposes.
OMG this is brilliant. And so pretty! I really like what you have done. the old bracelets, the pretty glass. WOW. absolutely love it. Just started going through the website. (the last time I only looked at your photos) I love Greece.
Thank you Chiara. The blog is divided between repurposing and pretty pics of Greece. I always make it a challenge to see what I can come up with when faced with ordinary things.
See now Mary, I would never have thought of that but the second I see what you did it seems so obvious! Another brilliant upcycle!
And you know I could never think like this before. It’s only because I’ve been exposed to so much beauty from the blogging world that my mind has expanded.
I am impressed…. even w/ the way you tied the ribbon and it looks so nice and curls in. Nice project. π
Thank you and I got to use another of my grill parts! π
Mary, Fun re-purpose and you’ve shown just how versatile it can be! Very clever with the staples and bracelets too.
Laurie I was itchin to use those bracelets. They had been collecting dust for years.
I honestly don’t believe there is a single thing you didn’t repurpose on that grill Mary, except may be a few screws π I love this hanging saucer planter
Just the screws and a little round thingy that goes on the top. π
Hi Mary, you did it again making something fun out of leftovers. I really love this hanging saucer planter, including all the different elements and colours. You did a really great job on this piece.
Leanna I think I may have gotten carried away with all these options. Sometimes I can be a bit indecisive.
Clever how you made it so it could adjust to hold different things Mary
Amber sometimes I can be too indecisive!
You are so creative!!! I love this. Thank you so much for linking to The Gathering Place Link Up!!!
Thank you Jessica, it was a simple repurpose.
What a creative project! Looks easy and fun π Thank you so much for sharing with us at Dishing It & Digging It & congratulations on being featured this week!
Thanks so much Angie, It was quite a surprise for me!
