Τα όμορφα κουτιά για την οργάνωση ρούχων στην ντουλάπα ειναι έτοιμα να δεχτούν το χάος που δεν θα πρέπει να υπάρχει! Ελπίζω ότι η κάτοχος του δωματίου θα κάνει το καθήκον της! Εύχομαι ότι τα ρούχα θα παραμείνουν έτσι! Πώς αντιμετωπίζετε τετοια ανακατωσουρα στις ντουλαπες σας;

Mary – that’s a great DIY idea! It also adds such a fun factor to the closet:)
Yes Ilka, because it’s a teen room it had to be fun otherwise she would have given it the evil eye.
What a great, inexpensive idea! I love it when things are organized. Thanks so much for sharing your project with us at Funtastic Friday.
It was time to clean up that mess and I just didn’t want to buy any plastic storage containers. So this was a perfect solution.
I have box envy. I’m a big fan of boxes, I love the wrapping paper colour you chose. I find that what happens with organising solutions is that they work for a while and then they stop being new and fun and stop working. I’ve come to accept that it’s okay for them to get old and not work anymore and that just means it’s time to try a new solution. I hope your box solution last a good while!
I hope so too Stella because I was at my wits end with that big mess of pants and jeans. At least now they are all in their respective boxes and shs can find them easily. Fingers crossed!
Mary this is such a clever and crafty idea! Your post is such a happy addition to Thoughts of Home on Thursday. Thank you SO much for sharing the joy.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Laura if it works I’m happy. It may be bright and pretty but we need functional here above all else. Thanks for stopping by.
You are very clever Mary!
No fancy paints Marie, just some humble paper. The fancy paints will have to wait! 😉
Mary, I love the paper you chose for your upcycled boxes. Pretty storage makes me smile ~ thank you for sharing @Vintage Charm!
Cecilia just because it’s in the closet it doesn’t mean it cannot be pretty. I think the pretty paper was extra incentive for my teen to use it … she is such a visual person.
I need this. I keep my sweaters folded on a shelf in my closet, and they love to slide all over the place. This is just what will keep them in place. Thank you, Mary!
That is the same exact problem I was having with my girl’s clothes Regina. So far it is working well.
What a great idea! We hate walking into our kids rooms and seeing the mess at the bottom of the closet! This would help, immensely.
It’s so funny, when we tell them to clean their rooms the floor of the closet must not count, in their eyes. I walk in to find the room spotless, then I open the closets doors, and cringe! What? They thought I wouldn’t look in the closet? I was a kid once too! LOL
Nikki so far this has worked out quite well. Althought I did see one of the boxes outside the closet today… I cannot let her slip up. But for now this has been her only transgression. And you know I am not a neat freak, althought I used to be BC (before children). I’ve had to lower my sandards considerably, but at least the house is full and happy.
Way to repurpose Mary!
Thank you so much Sandra!
That is a great project and I love the idea of recycling the cardboard boxes! Thank you so much for sharing at my craft party on Thursday! Would love to see your newest posts this week, which starts at 7pm EST.
Thank you Denise. I am so happy that they turend out so pretty otherwise she might not have used them…lol
Mary what a super cute way to organize a closet, and a great upcycle of boxes. Everything looks so nice and neat.
I remember these days! My oldest daughter was a neat freak, and had a place for everything so no problem there except when her little sister would sneak in her room and move something to a different place. Then she would come unglued!
LOL! She would notice if it was even an inche from its original place. Now the youngest was a different story, but I’m glad to say she finally came around 30 years later.
I’m so happy to hear you say that because this one is like your youngest. I hope she comes around too Linda!
What a great idea for repurposing boxes Mary! Thanks for sharing with us at Over the Moon.
Thank you Sue. They are very practical.
What a great idea! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
Anything that gets that girl organized is a great idea in my book Marci!
I am not a neat freak either but I just freak out when I look for something and can’t find it. And this happens with my girls’ clothes quite frecuently… I love your idea, I’m sure it will help to keep the order!
That’s what it’s all about, Time Management!! I like that better than searching for stuff. So far we are on it like a boss!!
Very frugal, very practical, great upcycle and they look cute. All the qualities I am really after.
Great craft, Mary! 🙂
It had to be functional because I feel like we waste half of our time looking for stuff. This way at least there is some order. Plus I really like those boxes with the openings in the front.
they look great Mary and certainly spruce up the wardrobe space 🙂
As long as the clothes are reasonably organized and not one big mess rolled into a ball. Functionality but Leanne prettyalso helps. Thanks for dropping by.
Mary, I know exactly what you are talking about! My older daughter is the exact same way! I neatly fold it all and it ends up looking like your picture above! So this box idea is brilliant and a great solution for me as well, because her closet is exactly the same style, a shelf underneath the rack! Thanks for a perfect solution! And they look so cool too!
Girls will be girls Katrin! Some are neater than others. But it is not her fault sometimes we have to help them along. As long as she can follow the system and put them where they belong it’ll be fine.
I thought I was the only one that stacked their pants on the floor of the closet. Along with tote bags and older purses (called handbags in New England).
I really like this idea and you were right, adding the wrapping paper makes them look finished. Finding boxes that could be stacked was inspired.
I am excited about this project…now I have to go to the big box store and scrounge me up some boxes.
This kid has way too many clothes. Her dresser is stuffed and overflowing so the pants had to go there. You go Krista!! Find those boxes !
I love organizing projects! I think I am a little bit of a neat freak! I think these boxes look so beautiful that the system will stick for your daughter!
I hope so Katerina. I am not a neat freak but I hate looking for stuff. Such a waste of time.
Mary, I love your solution to keeping pants and jeans organized!! Those boxes look so pretty wrapped in the paper!! I’m sure it’ll be easier for your daughter to keep things organized now. You already have seen how I organize my daughters’ closet and clothes, my closet on the other hand, we’ll needless to say I just close my eyes to that mess for now. 😉 I’ll get there eventually.
Yes Keri we always pay much more attention to the kids and end up neglecting ourselves. My room is a mess too. But the kids rooms look great.
Great use of unused space and anything wrapped in decorative paper makes it instantly better! Visiting from Morning Cup of Joe party.
And its a great way to customize the boxes to each kids personal taste. I’m very happy with this easy project Victoria thanks for visiting. .
What a neat little trick to spruce up and organize your closet!
Thanks for sharing it with us at Thoughts Of Home On Thursday!
Jemma thank you for stopping in. It is such a pleasure to see a neat closet… finally!
Great idea & great looking.
Thank you Joy, and it makes me happy as a mom to see the closet neat for once.
This has got to be one one of the easiest, cheapest storage ideas that is too cute to boot!! I love that wrapping paper choice and your homemade labels, too. Pinning
It’s all about being frugal and doing a custom job while you’re at it! A happy solution even my daughter liked… and it is still neat in her closet… a miracle.
What a cute way to organize and add some storage to the closet! I love the wrapping paper idea. It’s such an easy way to cover up a box and make it look a lot more fancy than it is!
It is a great way to customize boxes too. For example if you don’t find what you want you can make it. Don’t you just love being a DIYer!
Now that is ingenious. And a very good up cycle. I hope the girls enjoy the new look.
Yes they really like them and Debra so far so good. It’s actually working out well. (keeping fingers crossed)
