Well hello there. It is a bit early for our Int'l Bloggers Club Challenge but that's okay. Instead of waiting till the end of the month we have moved up our monthly challenge so that you can also benefit from out Halloween projects for the month of October.
I am teaming up with my International friends to bring you Halloween crafts this month. You can see everyone's crafts on the bottom of the post. In the past, we have done Fall Crafts and Back to School crafts.
But this month I'm throwing a Halloween party for the kids! Now tell me is that not the perfect excuse to go all out for Halloween crafts and Fun and Easy Halloween Vignettes?
But first, I'd like to talk a little bit about Halloween in Greece....
It is non-existent.
In Greece, as in other European countries we celebrate the Carnival. It takes place right before Lent which would be between January and March. If you'd like to learn more about the Carnival in Greece you can go over to a guest post I did at my friend Sue's blog, Sizzling toward Sixty.
This year, I am bucking the trend and throwing a party for my daughter, the one of You Tube fame who absolutely loves Halloween. A friend of hers came over and they got down to business. We also want to take this opportunity to thank the very talented Nadia for working on the crafts with us. Below is a shameful picture of the two girls in the middle of a giant mess... yes folks, that is what a blogger's house looks like most days.
Paranoid Man Pumpkin has left his pumpkin rabble and gone out to the Drunken table to check things over ... And lo and behold, he finds that others have taken over his stomping ground.
Why there is a whole gang of them!
Painted gourds and an old tin can covered in black fabric and dressed as a mummy with eyes made from buttons! How preposterous!
And on the other side the Mummy couple is all dressed up for an outing. How dare they have such fake looking eyes made with felt!
Little Miss Gourd has spotted Paranoid man and is afraid of his scowl! She consults with Mummy Man. What should they do?
The walnut eyeballs area all abuzz!
But Mrs. Mummy is not fazed by Paranoid Man's scowl and calms everyone down. After all she is very charming with her ruby red lips.
Is Paranoid Man going to leave them alone, to dwell on the Drunken Table?
Maybe the oracle eyeball has the answer!
At least before the flowers dry out and fall to the ground.
Paranoid man sees that he is outnumbered again...drats !!
He's leaving them alone! Goodbye, good riddance and we'll throw away the keys!
Poor Mr. Mummy was so frightened his button eyes nearly fell off.
This was our attempt at a not so spooky story. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did creating it. And you can see that nothing out of the ordinary was used to create this fun and easy Halloween Vignette.
Did you like Paranoid Man's new witch hat?
