We are smack dab in the middle of the sweltering August heat. And it is time to recap last month’s “Photos of the Day” for July 2017.
And just in case you have no idea what this is, I upload “a photo of the day” on my Facebook page here,
every day and at the end of the month I present the best picked by you. This is my way of saying “thank you” to all of my followers. I have added the whole series on the bottom of this post.
This month’s photos were a varied bunch, I honestly never know what will strike your fancy!
The contrast of colors…
…or the classic blue of the Corinthian Bay?
Perhaps a bit of color after all that blue?
Or my attempt to get your advice about the chairs. Should I distress them or leave them all black?
This is my personal favorite!
Who can resist such a cute face? The story behind this one is that I sent the kids out to photograph the town and they came back with photos of cats and a ton of selfies.

Of course we cannot end this collection without our bonus pics. These are a bit artsy and I have my daughter to thank for that!
I hope you enjoyed my Photos of the Day for June 2017, and will visit my photo gallery here for more photography or subscribe to my photo posts here. These are photos that you have selected by liking and commenting on my facebook page. As always I thank you for your support.
Question: Should I distress the black chairs or leave them all black? (Let’s see if anyone answers that.)

Mary, gorgeous photos as always!! Your daughter takes after her momma, both very talented! As for the chairs I would distress them. I've come to find out that if I don't distress them the kids will so I might as well do it right?! ;) Thanks for sharing your photos!!!

Keri you are so right about those chairs. I noticed that on one of them that I had fully panted it it has started to distress itself and it wasn't from the kids but from the heat. Better safe than sorry.

Yay for the distressing. I kind of like the brown peeking out.

You didn't ask which ones were our favorite! Or maybe we all already voted on the cat. I don't remember voting on the cat, but I probably WOULD vote on the cat. But if I wasn't voting on the cat, I would vote on the pebbles. But anyhow, I'm voting on the cat. I really like that cat...probably b/c it reminds me of my cat. When he was a little cat. Now he's a big cat.

Haha!! Florence you are so funny. OK when you all comment that is how I can tally up the "votes" comments and likes. The cat was very popular. That was a special cat with those cute eyes.
