A few weeks ago I managed to tear myself away from the computer and spend some time with my husband. We enjoy strolling on the beach. Once we had even gone on the boat and seen the sunrise. But this time it was around the time that the sun was setting.
Πριν από λίγες εβδομάδες κατάφερα να ξεκολλήσω από τον υπολογιστή και να περάσω λίγο ποιοτικό χρόνο με τον σύζυγο. Απολαμβάνουμε συχνά βόλτες στην παραλία. Μια φορά ειχαμε πάρει την βάρκα και είδαμε την ανατολή του ηλίου.
Αλλά αυτή τη φορά ήταν κατά την ώρα του ηλιοβασιλέματος.
I’ve been there before at this time, but because I now have a camera, I see things with a different eye than before. I notice the way the light hits the mountains on the opposite end of the world, or at least opposite to where the sun is setting.
Έχω ξαναπάει σε εκείνο το μέρος, αλλά επειδή τώρα έχω μια φωτογραφική μηχανή, βλέπω τα πράγματα με διαφορετικό μάτι από ότι πριν. Παρατηρώ τον τρόπο που το φως χτυπά τα βουνά απέναντι όπου ο ήλιος δύει.
I notice the reflections on the water.
Παρατηρώ τις αντανακλάσεις στο νερό.
And the changing color of the sky.
Και η αλλαγή του χρώματος του ουρανού.
I had actually taken photos of this area during the day a few months back here. What a difference a change of color can make.
Είχα βγάλει φωτογραφίες αυτής της περιοχής κατά τη διάρκεια της ημέρας πριν λίγους μήνες εδώ. Τι διαφορά κάνει η αλλαγή του χρώματος.

It was an amazing sunset stroll on the beach. And I’m glad I was able to capture all of this color to share with you. I suspect the light will be different in the summertime. I’ll be back then with my trusty camera.
Ήταν ένα καταπληκτικό ηλιοβασίλεμα στην παραλία. Και χαίρομαι που κατάφερα να “μαζέψω” όλο αυτό το χρώμα για να το μοιραστώ μαζί σας. Υποψιάζομαι οτι το φώς θα είναι διαφορετικό το καλοκαίρι. Θα ξαναπάω τότε με την έμπιστη κάμερα μου.

Mary, these are absolutely breathtaking! I've looked through a couple of times and can't pick one that is my most favorite. The colors you captured are remarkable, which is what I am most enjoying about outdoor photography right now...catching certain colors. I can imagine you and your husband taking this sunset stroll...and that's an equally beautiful image. I know without hesitation that your day was made complete by taking time from your day to capture nature at her loveliest. Well done and thanks for sharing. Hugs, Lynn

Thank you Lynn, it was the perfect end to a lovely stroll. The weather was perfect and we walked through the peebled beach so we got our exercise as well. You take photos but yo udo not know what you ahve taken till you come home open that memory card.
