This has been the week from Hell. We had another heat wave! Why the media even named it Lucifer! I think they should try a bit of positive thinking. It “should be” down to 93 by the time you read this. I too will be doing lots of positive thinking trying to get my hot flashes under control. Have a great weekend everyone!

I like to transform old furniture. This mid century dresser has everything I like. Beautiful color, gold accents and a lot of love! You must see the old before and how Fabiola from FabiFabu gave it all the love it needed!
I love this Farmhouse makeover of an old chest destined for the trash heap that Sam at Raggedy Bits has done! Old Fashioned Milk Paint and Sam’s expertise to the rescue! What an improvement over how it used to look! Great job Sam!
When I saw Merissa’s twist on traditional salsa over at Little House Living, I practically salivated reading the post (I’m not kidding!). Fresh, flavourful, and with ingredients you can find in any grocery store, it’s the perfect recipe to whip up for family or friends or for that last summer soiree 🙂
This post from Carol at The Red Painted Cottage made me smile from ear to ear. The photos tell a story like no other – you have got to see how awesome this fur baby and her buddy are.
