Mary you are so creative!! Love your ideas on how to disguise the ugly, I think I have to start doing something similar
Pili, this was so fun to make, and half of it was my girls’ reactions.
That’s a great idea Mary!!! We have these heaters here too. And since it doesn’t get that cold and you only need them sometimes…might as well get some other use out of them, right??? Super!!!
Katrin, it sits behind her bed most of the year doing nothing and she usually puts things on it, it might as well be secure.
Hi Mary! It’s great to see you at Turn It Up Tuesday!
Zografia, where else would I be!!
Hi Mary. What a clever idea to make something even more functional! Your daughter’s comments make me laugh 😉 I am always a fan of not letting things, like tape, go to waste. Also, thanks for your sweet comment and sharing your background with me. You have such a fascinating story! I hope your move back to the US is smooth, and that you find a happy, slower pace in the big apple!
Nicki, thanks for visiting. And again thanks for your post, it really touched my heart. Stay well my friend!
Great, free, creative…..but free is the best!!!! Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea with us at Together on Tuesdays 🙂

LOL Harry is too young! And it’s going in the Wrong Direction! Too funny. And SUCH a smart idea! Thanks so much for linking up with Free and Fun Friday, off to tweet and pin! 🙂
Sarah I need to have a sense of humor with 2 teens in the house. And they are opposites to boot. Thanks for visiting tweeting and pinning!!
I would never guess what was under there! You are so handy, I love the way your mind works until it comes up with a creative solution.
Nikki it was an easy and frugal solution.
You cracked me up with the “Wrong Direction”! Ahahahahaha! Thank you for linking up with us on Welcome Home Wednesday. We’ll see you next week!
Lyn, llife is never boring with teens in the house, you either go along with them or sink. I know more ID songs than I care to remember. See you next week.
Practical and pretty! A great solution, Mary!
Poppy
Thanks so much Poppy, and it is also crisis proof!!
Great way to disguise something that isn’t so pretty when it’s not in use. Plus, you now have a mini table to use too.
Exactly Erlene , you can see in my room reveal tomorrow where I place it so it is also very functional. Thanks for visiting.
Great idea to cover those heaters! Thank you for sharing with us at Friday Favorites!
Stephanie, Itwas an economical solution as right now I don’t see the point in spending money when I do not know where we will end up.Thanks for stopping by.
Great solution! Thanks for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
Sherry, thanks for stopping by.
That’s a great cover up! I’d never guess what’s under there and it provides a table also! Well done! Thanks for sharing #frifree4all
Thank you Hayley, Now I can tackle another one in the other girls room.
Mary, you have such a creative mind! You found a way to get the heater out of site, but able to make good use of it as well. It looks great, and makes a great area to hold a few things.
It does and Linda it is sitting at the head of the bunk bed in this narrow space. So it is perfect for that tiny space.
That was a bit surprising, I came to visit from Facebook and I never expected it to be one of those dull grey heaters. That’s just brilliant Mary.
It really had to be hidden. It is only in use a few months of the year and the rest of the time it just takes up space so why not have it be useful too.
