We all have the holidays on our minds and choosing gifts is never easy.  This month I chose to concentrate on handmade gift ideas because knowing there is an artist on the other end of a gift makes it so much more special!
I came up with a list of ten amazing hand-made gifts – for $10 and under.  I think some of these would be perfect as stocking stuffers.

For the Home

Here is one gift idea I would personally love to get.  A set of six hand made beeswax pillar candles to make the home smell sweet as honey.  We always have candles burning in our home.

I know you all would have a hard time between “Eat” “Cheers” “Family” “Home” and “Love”!

These  rusty and rustic letters and numbers would make a great gift idea for your Do It Yourself friend who wants to create their own sign or art.  They even come with pre-drilled holes. They also come in different sizes so you can use them for large or small signs, or even to add numbers on your front door.

A home decor poster with a vintage look and an inspirational Bible verse – this one has got it all.  The only thing missing to make the gift complete is a frame of your liking that you will provide. There are lots of different verses to choose from!

Another great gift for the home is this set of eight cork ampersand coasters. Handcrafted and so original and super cool! In fact if anyone from my family is reading this “hint” “hint”  we don’t want to ruin the furniture!

Why not treat the hostess with the most organized pantry, to a set of these lovely vintage style mason jar labels that are “made with love”. This company makes gift tags and labels in lots of different styles.

Ornaments

For the friend who loves to travel, why not give them a  Christmas ornament with a sandblasted etching of their favorite place, whether it be a vacation spot or their home away from home. Can you guess what I would want etched on mine?  Yep, it would be Greece!

An ornament reindeer cookie cutter is the perfect gift for the baker in the family.  Not only is the detailing three dimensional but there are many other cutters to choose from. My daughter would love to have these!

Personalized ornaments never go out of style.  It is a great way to document a family’s history and milestones.  For example the wood house ornament below captures the first Christmas. You can have it personalized to reflect many special moments in your life. They even come in the shape of a key or mark baby’s first Christmas.

And last but certainly not least, who can forget the “best friend in the world”.  A hand carved wood ornament to make that most beloved family member feel special!  There is even one for the purr babies!

Ok I know I’m going overboard but this is the last one.  I fell down  Santa’s sack,  looking at all those pretty ornaments.

This one speaks to my farmhouse heart – a combination of rust and lace.  There is also another version with beads.

That is my collection of ten (plus one) hand-made gifts for $10 and under, for the home and ornament ideas.  I really enjoyed working on this post and came up with quite a few gift ideas for my kids. Hi Mary, I love that rustic and rusty sign set. It’s different… The personalised Christmas decorations are nice as they would come out year after year and be a reminder of something special. Whether it be a fur baby or a new home.
