Untangling the Wires with Upcycled Storage
Add some organization to those unruly electronics wires with a simple cereal box upcycling project. A no-cost DIY home organization idea!
I’m sure everyone has the following problem. Too many phone chargers and other wires that get all tangled up! And so today I will show you how I untangled my wires by upcycling cardboard cereal boxes!

I solved this problem by using some left over cereal boxes.

I measured the height that I wanted and I cut the top off .

I cut the sides and folded them in.

I did this with three boxes and then stapled them together.

I glued on some pretty fabric that I had using regular white glue. I glued it all around…

I then took a cardboard and cut it into 3 pieces, making sure the width was less then the height of the cereal boxes. Each cardboard piece was perforated into 3 sections.

This would help me to bend them into squares.

I was then able to insert each of the squares into one of the cereal boxes.

And this is the end result. A pretty organizer for the phone charger and other miscellaneous wires.

As you can see this project cost next to nothing to make. It was an easy solution to a very annoying organization problem. I save so much time now that I don’t have to untangle wires. Hope this inspires you to try it.

What a great idea, and so inexpensive. Found you at Classy Flamingos.
Since I saw this recycle, I did one for my little junk pile and its perfect for my closet. Thanks for inspiration.

Great project. I have been trying to figure out how to store all those cords and this is what I need to make too. Happy New Year, Kippi
SO smart and cost-effective! I’ve done something similar with a dollar store plastic bin and toilet paper rolls 🙂 Thanks for sharing your brilliant idea! From The Blogger’s Pit Stop
